Tour Plan Amendments
Tour plan amendments are available before your booking has been fully processed. As the change may bring lower or higher costs, the quotation would be based on each specified itinerary. To propose any amendments after reservations done, there are possibilities of costs increasing or reducing. China Panda Tour shall refund or charge according to the final situation. Before or during the tour, China Panda Tour reserves the rights to make amendments including altering, postponing and canceling tours or parts of tours due to weather condition, transportation, riot as well as other uncontrollable reasons (please find more in FORCE MAJEURE) in order to ensure safe and secure tours.
Force Majeure Clause
Force majeure means any unforeseeable events beyond control which prevent the implementation of any obligation. Usual force majeure includes nature disaster, war, civil commotion, strikes, national or local government orders. If any party is prevented from performing all or part of its obligations owing to force majeure, all or part of its obligations shall be relieved without compensation to the other party. Assuming both parties or any party cannot perform the contract due to force majeure incidents, effective remedies shall be taken to avoid or relieve the losses to the lowest possible extent.
The deposit will initiate a reservation process. China Panda Tour shall confirm back with guests via email about the booking situation. If the reservation can not be confirmed for any reason, China Panda Tour will fully refund the deposit amount without additional charge.
For cancellations due to guests’ personal reasons, China Panda Tour would deeply regret and refund part of the payment (the rest is the cancellation fee).
The cancellation fee will be charged as follows:
0-3 days prior to departure date: 100% of the tour cost;
4-7 days prior to departure date: 50% of the tour cost;
8 or more days prior to departure date: 0; guests can also decide whether to leave the deposit to apply for the next reservation within 12 months. The refund amount should based on the actual payment China Panda Tour receive deducting bank handling fee or Paypal commissions.
1. The payment for some popular hotels and Yangtze River Cruises will be not refundable if the cancellation is received less than 3 days prior to the check-in or departure date.
2. During big festivals and events, the cancellation fee will be almost the same as the full payment.
3. Once the trip has begun, there will be no refund for unused services due to guests’ early departure, late arrival or missed days on tours.
All clients must be in possession of valid passports, visas and permits (if needed) at the commencement of travel. Such documentations are the sole responsibility of guest. Upon request, China Panda Tour may assist clients in applying for the necessary travel documentation. China Panda Tour accepts no responsibility or liability for the failure of guests’ obtaining appropriate documentation.
All guests should realize the international travel risk and familiarize themselves with health requirements applicable to the areas they intend to visit. Client is solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited.
In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg for economy class, 30kg for business class and 40kg for first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of guests. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
All guests have the right to decide whether to buy travel insurance from home country with specific overseas coverage. China Panda Tour follows the regulation of China National Tourism Administration to issue Personal Travel Accident Insurance from China Ping An Insurance for each guest. It covers injuries arising out of accidents during the travel.
Complaints and Claims
If guest feels unsatisfied with any service China Panda Tour provides, please kindly notify the local tour guide or China Panda Tour travel consultant right away to avoid the potential similar problems from happening again during the trip. Also to inform tour guide or travel consultant in time is good for collecting proof of service qualities. In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, guest can inform China Panda Tour by email or fax in written form with signature within 15 days from the end of the tour. China Panda Tour will try our best to solve any displeasure and give reasonable compensation if remedial measures are not applicable.
China Panda Tour shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or the failure of any equipment operated by any carriers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by China Panda Tour. China Panda Tour shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to traveler and his/her property in connection with climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond control. Neither China Panda Tour nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any aforementioned causes.
